Reports To: Senior Architect.
Job Type: Full-Time in-house. No remote or hybrid options.
Position Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Designer II with 3–5 years of professional experience and a strong trajectory toward licensure. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of architectural projects under the guidance of senior design professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a balance of creative design thinking and technical proficiency, supporting the development of architectural solutions from concept through construction documentation. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project architects and managers to prepare and revise architectural drawings and documentation across all project phases.
- Translate conceptual designs into compelling visual presentations and detailed technical documents.
- Conduct research on materials, systems, and products to support design development and specification.
- Assist in the selection of materials and finishes, ensuring alignment with project goals and sustainability standards.
- Participate in construction administration activities, including site visits, RFIs, and submittal reviews.
- Contribute to maintaining design integrity, quality standards, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the coordination of consultant teams and internal disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong design sensibility with the ability to develop creative and practical architectural solutions.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, including:
- Revit , AutoCAD , and SketchUp for design and documentation.
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for graphic presentations.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for communication and documentation.
- Basic hand sketching and physical model-making skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 3–5 years of relevant architectural experience in a professional setting.
- Actively pursuing architectural licensure is strongly preferred.
