Job Title: Network Engineer (CCIE Certified)

Location: Cleveland, OH

Job Type: Fulltime

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Network Engineer (CCIE) to join our team in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure enterprise network infrastructures. This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on experience with complex networking environments, and the ability to lead projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center).
  • Manage and troubleshoot routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS).
  • Deploy and maintain network security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of network services.
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions for critical network incidents.
  • Collaborate with system administrators, application teams, and vendors on integration projects.
  • Create and maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of processes.

Required Qualifications

  • CCIE Certification (Routing & Switching, Security, or Data Center).
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
  • Strong expertise with Cisco technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless).
  • Solid understanding of network security and best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring/diagnostic tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, etc.).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible).
  • Exposure to SD-WAN and modern data center technologies (ACI, VXLAN).
  • ITIL framework familiarity and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
