Job Description
My client is looking for a Cost Accountant to own all things accounting in our growing leather goods business. You’ll handle the numbers day-to-day — from payroll and payables to cash flow and inventory projections — while working directly with leadership and the company CPA. What You’ll Do
Run Payroll, A/R, and A/P
Manage Inventory Projections & Purchase Orders based on sell-through
Oversee Cash Flow Forecasting and financial reporting
Handle Month-End & Year-End Close (monthly, quarterly, annually)
Prepare Financial Reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for leadership
Partner with our CPA for Tax Prep & Compliance
Track Expenses & Budgets to keep spending on target
Manage Vendor Invoices, POs, and Payments
Perform Bank Reconciliations (accounts & credit cards)
Maintain Records for Audits, Insurance, and Compliance
Collaborate across Ops, Sales, and Marketing to align financial insights with business decisions
