Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Support global Aftermarket facilities with financial planning, analysis, and accounting tasks.
- Lead and manage a team of analysts responsible for regional and facility-level support.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to deliver strategic insights, reporting, and process support.
- Oversee the team’s participation in month-end close activities, including journal entries and compliance with SOX requirements.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly performance reports to finance and operations leadership.
- Analyze monthly financial results, comparing actuals against forecasts, plans, and trends.
- Work closely with operations teams to build annual budgets and update monthly forecasts by business unit and region.
- Support both internal and external audit processes as required.
- Identify and implement improvements to streamline and enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Contribute to special projects and assignments as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA and/or MBA preferred, but not required
- 10+ years of accounting and/or financial planning and analysis experience
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
- High level of dedication to meeting customer requests and required time commitments
- Proven track record of results and ability to partner with all levels within the organization
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Hyperion Financial Management and/or Oracle experience is a plus
- Keen interest in process improvement through automation (i.e. Alteryx, Power Query)
Must Haves:
- Proven experience leading automation and process improvement initiatives—this is a core, non-negotiable skill.
- Ability to demonstrate ownership of full project lifecycles, from concept and build to change management and implementation.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent FP&A experience—not solely accounting.
- Strong experience in managing and supervising direct reports—must be clearly reflected on the resume.
- Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident presenter who can translate and explain complex data analytics to stakeholders.
- Able to collaborate and challenge stakeholders to implement and drive meaningful change.
- Stable work history—candidates with primarily short-term contract roles will not be considered.
- Familiarity with financial systems and tools such as Alteryx, Sigma, Oracle Cloud, Power BI, and Power Query.
- Previous experience with system implementations is a strong plus.
- Advanced credentials including CPA, Master’s degree, or MIS are highly preferred.
Pay Expectations:
$130-160k
