Our products have been used across North America and around the world in homes, schools, businesses, hospitals and stadiums, just to name a few. Currently, Roth is seeking a Finance Accountant to join our Syracuse, NY based team.

The Finance Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, including preparing financial statements, monitoring costs, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This role plays a critical part in supporting financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to drive operational efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting specific to manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries on a monthly basis.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Process accounts receivable cash receipts.
• Process invoices into computer system.
• Assistance with various tax returns and annual audit preparation
• Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, vendors, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
• Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax and banking working knowledge.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be detail oriented and organized.
• Must be able to work on many different projects at one time
• Experience with Accounting software, specifically SAP; Windows based spreadsheet/word processing package.
