Priority will be given to candidates who have graduated from a comprehensive coaching program accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) or who have Cognitive-Behavioral certifications or graduate degrees in therapy.

- Help organize and host a weekly house meal and bi-monthly events (helping cook on rotation every three weeks, occasionally on evenings or weekends)
- Address infractions to resident agreements, which may include dismissing a resident
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a safe curious space to build trust with residents
- Enrolled in therapy or willing to start (costs covered by Collective Chicago)
- Attentive to ego, with the ability to take a trauma-informed approach to de-escalate conflict
- Familiarity or proficiency with Google Drive Suite, Salesforce, and email
- A solid understanding of various mental health conditions and appropriate coaching strategies
Priority given to:
- Candidates who graduated from a comprehensive coaching program accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) or hold an ICF credential, and have completed a minimum of 100 client coaching hours with at least one year post-graduation experience.
- Those with Cognitive-Behavioral Certifications, or graduate degrees in therapy adjacent work
- Most ideally those who have certifications in the Co-Active Training institute (CTI) model, of which we try to model our hybrid trauma informed coaching around.
- Personal experience with homelessness preferred
- Trauma-informed training preferred
- Priority will be given to those who can be on site once or twice a week
We look forward to meeting candidates who are passionate about community building and eager to make a meaningful impact disrupting homelessness with dignity in Chicago.
