Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for an experienced Registered Nurse, RN, for an RN Clinical Education Manager position for our Client a Certified Home Health Care Agency, office is located in White Plains, NY. This is a Direct Hire, Full Time position. Qualified candidates will have prior Certified Home Healthcare Agency experience as an RN, Educator, Clinical Manager, Coordinator of Care or Patient Service Manager and will be experienced with the responsibilities of Field RN, Coordinator of Care as well as OASIS documentation, Wound Care and in-service orientation. Must enjoy instructing and educating Clinical Staff on proper process and procedures. Position is in office.
Registered Nurse - RN Clinical Education Manager (Certified Home Health Agency CHHA)
Responsibilities:
The RN Clinical Education Manager is a Registered Nurse with overall responsibility for participating in the Agency's education and training program. Assists in orientation and in-service training programs for all Agency staff. The RN Clinical Education Manager will conduct orientation and ongoing education for staff hired for the Certified Home Health Agency. Education will include the overall processes related to a field visit, aspects of care in the home setting, documentation and navigation of the electronic record, clearance of nurses in the field and clinical topics commonly seen in the Home Health setting. Qualified candidate will have prior experience Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) and in Geriatric populations.
Qualifications:
Valid NYS RN license, Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required, Masters in Education, Nursing or related field preferred.
Four+ years of progressive job related experience, including field visits and coordination of care.
Ability to Communicate with Clinical Staff clearly and effectively
Ability to instruct and answer questions of the Home Care Staff
Oasis certification preferred, willing to obtain certification within 1 year.
Computer skills required.
Ability to work both in-office and in the field
