\nRN - ICU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Provide critical care nursing services in the CCU with 2:1 patient ratio
\n• Float to other units as needed including IMCU (4:1 ratio), Acute Care or Ortho (5:1 ratio), or ER for boarding patients
\n• Work every other weekend (2-3 weekends per month)
\n• Expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays with no RTO between Christmas and New Year
\n• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
\n• Complete 36 hours of orientation and 5-6 hours of pre-start modules
\n• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA or ARC only)
\n• EPIC charting experience required
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, respiratory failure, sepsis, strokes, and multisystem organ failure
\n• Manage ventilated patients, cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, and arterial lines
\n• Perform specialized procedures including central line insertion assistance, targeted temperature management, and intubation assistance
\n• Work with specialized equipment including cooling/warming machines, telemed carts, and low air loss mattresses
\n• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
\n• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required with exemptions allowed

\nThis community hospital operates a 12-bed critical care unit providing comprehensive cardiovascular and intensive care services. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and radiology. The hospital maintains high clinical standards with specialized equipment for temperature management, cardiac monitoring, and advanced life support capabilities.
